Lila Nieves-Lee
Lila Nieves-Lee serves as Vice Chair of the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF). In her role, she works with state federations to support the goals of the YRNF and to help recruit, train, and elect the next generation of young republican leaders.
Lila previously served as the Chair of the DC Young Republicans. During her tenure as Chair of the DC Young Republicans, she helped increase membership to over 600 active young republicans, expanded the club’s political presence, and helped facilitate over twenty political campaign deployments to various neighboring states (including NC, NY, NJ, PA, VA, and OH) to help in competitive elections. The DC Young Republicans also received national recognition with the Young Republican National Federation 2018 Outstanding Event Award.
Lila is a Capitol Hill alumnus and served in various roles including, as Staff Director of the Senate Banking Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Protections to U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC). Prior to her role in the Senate, she served as a political appointee in the Executive Office of the President, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. There she worked on congressional relations and helped usher Congressional Members and staff through the NAFTA and KORUS renegotiation processes.
A native of California, Lila started her career with the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and later joined the House Ways and Means Committee. She earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
