Giancarlo Sopo
Giancarlo Sopo is the founder of Visto Media, a public relations, digital marketing, and strategic communications consultancy.
Giancarlo previously led public relations at The Daily Wire where he directed the company’s publicity strategy, oversaw its market research, and helped drive the growth of its publishing, entertainment, and news divisions. Prior to joining Daily Wire, Giancarlo directed Hispanic advertising and rapid response for President Trump’s re-election campaign and was instrumental in the Republican president’s 10-point gain with Hispanic voters. He conceptualized and directed some of the 2020 election’s most memorable ads, including the viral “Por Trump” spot that featured the 45thpresident dancing to salsa music. Giancarlo also led thecampaign’s Spanish-language Twitter account, dubbed by The New Yorker as a “brazen attempt to win over Latino voters.” Giancarlo has also driven successful marketing and corporate communication campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and brands across the U.S. and Latin America.
Recognized as an expert in publicity and Hispanic politics, Giancarlo’s commentary has been featured in Fox News, Newsweek, USA Today, The New York Times, and Univision. He has served three times as a Teaching Assistant at Harvard University and was a 2019 National Review Institute Regional Fellow. Giancarlo was born and raised in Miami, FL.
