Darby is an associate with Holtzman Vogel, providing counsel in the areas of campaign finance, election law, lobbying and ethics compliance, and tax-exempt organizations. She has an extensive background in advising Republican candidate campaigns. Last year, she helped lead the Election Day Operations effort for the Youngkin for Governor campaign which is widely consideredone of the best implementationsof an election operationsprogram to date.

During the 2020 election cycle, Darby served as Deputy General Counsel to the National Republican Senatorial Committee where she advised the committee on matters of campaign finance, election law, and Senate ethics compliance. Previously, she served as an attorney for the Special Counsel in the Office of White House Counsel and as the Director of Gift Protocol where she established gift protocol and procedures for the White House. Before that she was associate counsel for the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee. Prior to law school, she was awarded an Eisenhower Internship at the Republican National Committee and interned for U.S. Senator Jim Talent in his Washington, DC office.

Darby is an active member of the Republican National Lawyers Association currently serving as the Chair of the DC Young Lawyers Chapter.She was recently selected to American University’s Women & Politics Institute “We Lead Campaign Training Program” for the class of 2023. Darby earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester, a Master of Public Health-Health Policy from Saint Louis University and a Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law.
