Bradley M. M. Bewkes is an elected public official, award-winning technologist, and business founder. Bradley is currently serving a four-year term on the Stamford, Connecticut, Board of Representatives, the legislative and governing body of the City of 135,000 residents and a $600MM+ budget.  He is the Deputy Minority Leader as well as Co-Chair of the Land Use Committee and serves as one of only seven Republicans on the Board of 40 Representatives. Bradley currently is the Co-President of the Log Cabin Republicans founding Connecticut Chapter. 

Professionally, Bradley is a leader at the intersection of technology and social good. He holds the position as the Director of Business Development at Idealist, a nonprofit technology platform where 135,000+ organizations around the world connect with millions of people every month. He has won several awards in that capacity and speaks regularly at institutions such as MIT, Stanford University, Microsoft, New York Public Library, and United Nations Youth Assembly. He also serves on several tech advisory boards for CUNY which have received $10MM+ to promote technology careers to underserved youth.   

In addition, Bradley is also a Manhattan landlord, controlling a 6,000 sq ft corner building on 64th & Lexington. Previously, Bradley spent 15 years in the for-profit apparel and consumer goods industries building and managing several brands. He graduated summa cum laude from Fashion Institute of Technology, where he studied International Trade & Marketing and he recently completed the Charter Oak Leadership Program in Connecticut.  He lives in Stamford, CT with his husband, Garrett, and pup, Benson.
